Dr. Meghan Abbott

Dr. Meghan Abbott earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida. A lifelong horse enthusiast, she began her career in equine medicine before transitioning to small animal general practice, where she discovered her passion for surgery, dentistry, and complex medical cases. Dr. Abbott’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is the meaningful relationships she builds with her clients—both two and four-legged. She is also deeply committed to education, taking pride in mentoring clients, staff, and veterinary students alike.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Abbott enjoys spending time with her husband, often at horse shows where she competes with her off-the-track Thoroughbreds. At home, she loves relaxing on their family farm with her four dogs and six cats.
